- Mtandao Afrika : 2004 Training Program :

In its efforts to enhance the skills of youth and teachers in Africa, SchoolNet Africa, with the support of Microsoft Unlimited Potential Program has implemented an intensive training program in 11 African countries with the participation of 1400 participants during the year 2004. Following is a brief about some of the implemented programs.
Benin
SchoolNet Benin has implemented the Mtandao Afrika basic ICT skills training program for 100 students and teachers.

       
Cameroon
With the support of Microsoft Unlimited Potential Program in collaboration with Schoolnet Africa, G.B.H.S Deido Multimedia Resource Center, Lycee Joss, and Bts Professeurs Reunis, the MAf partner in Cameroon will be implementing its ICT skills training program for learners and teachers starting from 6th of July through the 6th of August 2004. A total number of 100 participants from 3 schools in the economic capital; Douala will be attending the c ourse. The trainers include:-
Egypt
With the support of Microsoft Unlimited Potential Program and Menatel communications, RITSEC, the MAf partner in Egypt in cooperation with the Integrated Care Society and El Rashidi Foundation has implemented its ICT skills training program for learners and teachers starting 25th of February 2004. A total number of 180 participant from 3 governorates attended the course.
Gambia
YMCA Computer Training Centre, the MAf partner in the Gambia started the implementation of the ICT skills training program for learners and teachers during the month of March 2004.
Nigeria

In collaboration with Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF), a training program with the support of Micorosoft Unlimited Potential Program was implemented at Oweri Digital Village .

       

Senegal
In cooperation with Worldlinks Senegal and with the support of Microsoft Unlimited Potential program, MAf started the implementation of the ICT skills training program for 100 learners and teachers during May 2004.
